Meet the Researchers

Research Team

Erin Martz, Ph.D. (Rehability, LLC) and Hanoch Livneh, Ph.D. (Portland State University)

As an enthusiastic team of two rehabilitation researchers, one of whom lives with Type 1 diabetes, we have dedicated our careers to studying how people adapt to chronic health conditions. This study is entirely self-funded and conducted pro bono because we are deeply committed to uncovering insights that improve the lives of the T1DM community.

Your trust is our priority. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Portland State University. As experienced investigators, we handle your information with strict confidentiality. All data are securely stored and protected in alignment with Portland State University's institutional research standards.
